Ryan's 5th Month - March 2012 Part1

Ryan wearing his Red Hot Chili Pepper inspired Baby Gap Shirt - Uncle Kregg will really be proud! The Scorpios must stick together!

The fake suspenders really class up the outfit - Ryan was very happy to show off the new look in his daily walk.   Ryan helped show Daddy off to the Airport for a short Business Trip to India - a chance to spend some quality one-on-one time with Mommy for a few days!

Mommy sent Daddy lots of photos - Ryan enjoying his daily routine at the Condo - hanging out with the fish and here his daily walk to the through the Garden area.  Well behaved for the first day.

Ryan expressing his feelings because Daddy is not home to give him his morning bath - well that is what Daddy thinks - Mommy may have another opinion - but Ryan does have his moments when he is not happy and smiling - not many but we try to capture them when they happen.

Mommy showing her creative side using some photo editing tools to give an artistic flare to a special moment they shared when Daddy was gone.

Thank you Grandma Schuster - Ryan wearing his "Somebody in Olean, NY Loves Me" T-shirt!  Daddy is home for few days before heading off to Korea for a week.  Daddy was able to celebrate his 4 Month Day on March 4, 2012 before having to head to the Airport.  Ryan now weighs in at nearly 21 lbs and is nearly 28 inches long.  For the most part he is wearing 6-9 months clothes from most brands. He is much more alert and active during the day time hours - we are getting ready to move to Korea in the next month so his days of living in the tropics will change.

With Daddy Gone - Mommy has a chance to have Ryan model all his new looks - Nice Hat Ryan!

Ryan is in the early stages of teething - he loves having something in his mouth at all times - he tries to eat his toes - he loves to bite on your fingers - and of course he loves to eat his own hand as well - Mommy showing her skills capturing the photo while holding him.

Is this a new look - a turbine perhaps?  No - Mommy just trying to fit his shirt over his big noggin!  Ryan seems confused but still enjoying the new look.  Are the Fashion Police on the job - if so, Mommy might get a fine!

Daddy is gone on business - but Ryan maintains his daily routine - in this snapshot sent to Daddy - Mommy explained that Ryan is resisting having to lay back in the Buggy - he is wanting to stay in an upright position.
Another shot - where Ryan is giving his Mommy a hard time - he is fighting her trying to get him into his car seat - he does not want to recline - he wants to be sitting up and taking in the all the new sights and sounds.

Ryan is starting to resist Mommy even holding his bottle - he wants to do it himself - and can manage for 10-15 sec at a time before he drops it - so he is not quite ready yet!

Daddy is back in town and took Ryan and Mommy window shopping for a new seating device for Ryan - as he wants to be seated upright we found this item - it is a tight fit so we held off for the time being.   But the real story is we had to rush home today because it was going to be Mommy's big afternoon/evening out with the Girls - after a week long trip in Korea - Daddy and Ryan were going to celebrate with our first Guy's Night Only (at least that was the story Mommy Sold to Daddy - I think Mommy needed a little Adult time after a long week).

Daddy did just fine - We spent quality time playing football and basketball - Ryan was tuckered out by the early evening and we survived Mommy's night out!

The next day - Ryan is very alert and wide awake - I think Mommy might be a little tuckered out herself after enjoying here ladies night out a wee bit much!

Ryan's nap time - love this shot as his Teddy Bear Blanket (from Aunty Kristen - his favorite sleeping time aid) and Ryan share the same pose- arms spread wide open.

Nap time is over - let's go see the fish - of course he loves that idea!

Mommy must have told him a really great joke - little did Ryan know he was on his way to the Doctor for his immunization shots - he wasn't laughing so much when he got his jab.

Ryan enjoying Tummy Time - reading his favorite Monkey book.

The reason he loves the Monkey book is not for the story but for the soft, fluffy yet textured taste of the   different pages in the book - Ryan eating not reading his Monkey book!

Ryan's big celebration weekend after his immunization shot earlier in the week - his first trip to the Big Pool at the Condo - no longer would he be confined by the walls of his baby tub or the side of Mommy's Bathtub - he is wearing is warming suit with his special swimming Nappies underneath - thank you to Grandma Schuster for bringing them from the states over Christmas!

Ryan was not quite sure what to make of the Big Pool - he was kicking around but overall the water temperature was a bit cool - he was not such a big fan of Pool after a few minutes in the cold water - as much as he loves his bath - he didn't love his first real swim.

The look says it all - he was just about to lose it and really start crying - we had to take him out right after this shot.

Ryan even tried the kiddy pool with Mommy but he had the same reaction - the water was not warm enough for him - we will need to find an indoor pool that his heated or wait a few more months to try again.

Mommy was prepared - he had Bathrobe a towel for his lower body and a big towel for the Buggy - Ryan the pampered swimmer!

Yeah - Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit - Ryan showing his strong legs with a little walk with Grandpa.

Ryan sitting on Daddy's lap and hamming it up with Grandma and Mommy who snapped this photo - he was very happy to have guests this weekend - who very much spoiled with them here as well!

What a better way to spend the Special Weekend then by debuting his new chair - even though it is a tight fit even now - Ryan seems to love having his own chair where he can sit up just like everybody else.

Ryan with new chair on the couch - he ends up lasting around 10 Min before he wants to do something else - as we love to call him - Ryan is the 10 min Baby - he must do something new and different every ten minutes when he is awake.

As we prepare for the move to Korea - we started packing up some of Ryan's clothes - but before we packed up his first Snowsuit purchased for Korea - Mommy wanted him to model it - as it looks Winter will be over by the time we arrive and he won't have a chance to wear this much next winter at the rate he is growing!

Free from his snowsuit - Ryan enjoy a good stretch and giving his Daddy a big smile - who approves of the new outfit that Mommy got for him!
