July 2012

Ryan is now 7 months old.   We were able to have our Summer Vacation in the US this year and Ryan was really a great baby for the long flight - the problem then became he hated the long car rides we took as we navigated from Buffalo, NY to Chicago, IL to Lynchburg, VA to Washington DC and back to Buffalo, NY.   It was quite a journey but well worth the chance to see our family and so many great friends.

Mommy's little Laundry Helper - sorting and tasting the socks (after they have been washed!)

Ryan catching up on the Morning news from underneath the coffee table!

Ryan's first Subway ride!

Ryan rocking the backwards hat  and then going old school with the flip up visor look!

Ryan chilling on the Playground riding the Turtle and rocking his new Yellow MLB shades!

We love this photo - Ryan just so chill during an afternoon walk - lounging in the stroller.

Hmmm - I think I like this Ipad thing - Go Yankees!

Hang 10 Dude! - Ryan Toy Box Surfing.

Ryan a new friend at the playground.

Ryan is starting to get his upper teeth now.

Ryan's first visit to the Big Toys R Us store at Lotte World.   It was a nice journey on the Subway and we were able to get some Baby Proofing gear as Ryan has become very mobile and looking to explore.      We are getting closer to our US trip and can't wait to see everyone soon.

Ryan has been Skyping with Grandma and Grandpa - now he can't get enough of Mommy's Laptop - he prefers the keyboard option over the touch screen of the Ipad at the moment.

Let the journey begin - alas our trip from Seoul to Buffalo begins.

Yeah - we arrived to Grandma Schuster's house and she had some many great toys to play with- Ryan is enjoying the bouncing chair - he liked it a bit better than the Walker but still after a few minutes preferred playing with the toy on the outside of the chair rather than inside the chair!

Catching up with Family and Friends in Olean, NY.   Ryan stayed up past his bed time but overall behaved during dinner - not sure Mommy was able to eat her dinner when it was hot but we all had fun catching up.

Now let the real Journey Begin - we drove from Olean, NY to Chicago, IL after making a night stop and day visit to Notre Dame.   It was Grandma Schuster's first visit to the ND Campus (the university where her Father graduated from).  It is a beautiful campus filled with great lore.   An even better visit during the Fall on a Saturday Afternoon when the Fighting Irish are playing.   But at long last we made it to the Zink's house for a nice Chicago Deep Dish Pizza Party!

The next Day the Zink's hosted a wonderful BBQ party in honor of Ryan's first visit to Chicagoland.   It was so great to see everyone and in honor of Grandma Schuster we made sure we were all decked out in Plaid - no Skull Bandannas for this trip - it was a pure plaid Holiday.

From Chicagoland we then made our way to Lynchburg, VA - we went to visit the Tascone Family and meet Ryan's cousins.   Aunty Kristen and Uncle Tom hosted a great two day visit - complete with a  refreshing Pool Party and cookout.  Such a great visit and Ryan became the biggest little water bug we could imagine. Unlike his 4 month old first swimming pool adventure which lasted all of 5 minutes - Ryan loved spending time in the Pool.
